Each band student has a student account upon entering the South-Doyle High School Band. The account is kept by the treasurer of the South-Doyle Band Booster Club. Student balances may be checked on the band web site - accounts are listed by the student’s id number (given by SDHS).

A student accumulates funds in their student account by participating in fundraising opportunities. A minimum participation amount will be set for each fund raiser (see fund raising section) Profit from fundraising is the amount the band makes after all bills are paid. (Sales - cost = profit) Parents may also deposit into the student's account for the purpose of paying band fees.

This account is used for the payment of fees, band trip fees, and with board approval, instrument repair. All requests for use of student fees must be approved by the band director and the Band Booster Club Board and must be submitted during the school year for which said funds are being used.

At such time as the student is no longer in band, or upon graduation, the money in the student's account will revert to the general band account. If the student has a sibling coming into the band the next school year, and has left the band program in good standing, the money will automatically roll into the incoming freshman's account. Senior band members may use monies in their accounts for band trip spending money; however, senior band members not participating in a band trip may not withdraw monies from their accounts. In addition, underclass band members may not withdraw money to use as spending money on a trip. The monies is a students account have been collected as a direct result of participation in the band and are non refundable.

All questions and inquiries should be directed to the SDHS Band Booster Board.
